Throughout their three years studying Contemporary Theatre and Performance at Manchester Metropolitan University and since graduating the members of Cabin Fever have worked with numerous artists, practitioners and companies. Here are some examples of those they have worked with.
Nancy Reilly is a former member of the world famous Wooster Group and performed with fellow performers such as Spalding Gray, Liz LeCompte, Willem Dafoe, Steve Bucemi and Michael Kirby in performances such as L.S.D (...Just the high points...).
Kevin Egan is a leading member of the brilliant Reckless Sleepers and co-founder of FLARE. Kevin also is the program leader of Contemporary Theatre and Performance and directed Blame and had an advisory role on 5 minutes 20 seconds.
Michael Pinchbeck like Ed is an artist/performer from the East Midlands and has developed performances such as Concerto, Bolero and The Post Show Party Show. In the summer of 2017 Michael along with photographer Julian Hughes and Nottingham based theatre company New Perspectives worked with Ed on the development of A Fortunate Man. Michael also worked with Jamie in developmental phase of Concerto as part of his 3rd Year Artists Project 10 Days.
New Perspectives are a leading touring theatre company based in the East Midlands, making new work for a wide range of audiences and spaces. Ed in 2017 played a pivotal role developing A Fortunate Man with New Perspectives alongside fellow emerging artists such as Olwen Davies (LaPelle's Factory) which saw its debut at the National Rural Touring Conference at Lakeside Arts centre, Nottingham on 28/6/17.
Neil Mackenzie is the Artistic Director of FLARE festival the Performance Programmer of Axis Arts Centre in Crewe, Artistic Director of Plane Performance and senior lecturer at MMU. Neil has worked closely with Cabin Fever on 5 minutes 20 seconds, Mann-Kraft and STRUKTUR as well as commissioning Double-O to support Ridiculusmus.
Dr Jane Turner
Dr Jane Turner is a University Lecturer and Dramaturg biased at MMU Cheshire in Crewe and has worked as a dramturg with Proto-type Theatre and has had over ten articles/books published to date on topics from Eugino Barba to Balinese performance.
Dr Anna Fenemore
Dr Anna Fenamore worked with Ed on his 3rd Year Artist project and is the Director of Research and Associate Professor in Contemporary Theatre and Performance at the University of Leeds. Anna is also Artistic Director and performer in Pigeon Theatre.
DEAD PIG are a theatre company whom like Cabin Fever have grown from the Contemporary Theatre and Performance course at MMU Cheshire. Currently in their 3rd year DEAD PIG comprises of Mark Powell, Celine Kutevu, George Smith and Alex-May Wheeldon. They made their professional debut at FLARE17 where they were supported technically and logistically by the members of Cabin Fever.
Katt Perry & Ryan O'Shea
Katt Perry and Ryan O'Shea are fellow 2016 MMU Contemporary Theatre and Performance Graduates, Graduating alongside Cabin Fever. Since Graduating they have began to establish themselves as two of the foremost emerging contemporary performers/makers in the UK. They are currently performing in Concerto a pierce developed alongside Michael Pinchbeck. In addition to this they are both continuing to work independently. For example Ryan has recently been a producer for Flare Festival and is the technician for Reckless Sleepers as well as developing his own practice.
